01 · The problem
Color Splash Painting was getting plenty of leads — 30–50 a month. The problem wasn't volume. It was that the owner was chasing every lead personally, and the $300 cabinet touch-ups were eating the time he should have been spending on the $30K full-exterior bids.
By the time he got to the high-value leads, they'd already booked someone else.
02 · What we built
A Sammy workflow that fires the moment a new lead lands. Sammy pulls the address, queries Zillow + parcel data, returns home value, square footage, year built, and last sale date. Combined with the lead's message text, it produces a single line in Slack:
🔥 NEW LEAD — full exterior repaint — 4,200 sqft · $1.8M Zestimate · message: "ASAP, before listing in May" — call within 1 hour
03 · The enrichment pipeline
- Lead lands in Heist Labs from the website form.
- Sammy fires within 30 seconds: address → property enrichment.
- Lead message scanned for urgency keywords (ASAP, listing, deadline, quote).
- Score calculated. High-value leads routed to Slack with priority emoji.
- Standard leads flow through the normal 3-touch follow-up sequence.
04 · Results
- $53K full-exterior bid closed in week one — the first lead Sammy flagged.
- 4 leads over $20K in the first 30 days, all closed inside the response-time window.
- Average response time on high-value leads dropped from 4–6 hours to under 20 minutes.
- Owner stopped personally chasing the $300 jobs. Crew foreman handles them now.
05 · Client quote
I didn't need more leads. I needed to know which leads to call first. Heist built that in a week.
